How to start your Kokko?
Even easier to light than a traditional barbecue!
Place charcoal directly in the fire bowl or in the stainless steel charcoal basket.
Add two or three natural firelighters to the firebox.
Let the charcoal catch for 10 minutes with the lid open.
Close the lid and open the bottom vent and top chimney to allow air to circulate.
Monitor the temperature with the built-in thermometer.

Maintaining your Kokko barbecue is quick and easy. Here are the steps to keep your kamado clean and performing at its best:
1. Removing the ashes
After each use, ashes accumulate at the bottom of the firebox.
➡️ They can be easily removed through the stainless steel air vent at the front of the barbecue, using a brush.
💡 Practical tip: the “Stainless Steel Ash Pan and Shovel” accessory lets you collect ashes directly in a stainless steel tray for even faster cleaning.
2. Cleaning the exterior
The ceramic exterior can be cleaned simply with water and a soft sponge.
🚫 Avoid abrasive products that could damage the surface.
3. Caring for the interior
All the components inside the Kokko are removable.

Yes, the ceramic is perfectly resistant outdoors. The metal components are made of stainless steel or enamelled cast iron, ensuring complete protection against moisture and preventing the product from rusting.
