The Importance of Maintaining Your Terrace
A terrace that stands the test of time is a terrace that’s well cared for. It all starts with protecting it using the right products.
Starbrite offers the best solution with its Outdoor Wood Protector, ensuring all your outdoor features withstand the passage of time.
How to Use the Wood Brightener Cleaner?
1. Carefully protect any metal or painted parts near the terrace, as well as the lower sections of glass doors.
A weathered, greyed terrace needs effective cleaning to restore its look and properties. When your terrace starts to turn grey—sometimes even blackened, stained by grease, wine, bad weather, and more—there’s a simple, highly effective solution to lift stains from the wood and, above all, bring back its original color, feel, and appearance.
For this, use the Starbrite Outdoor Wood Brightener Cleaner. Tested and approved by our team both in the lab and in the field. This product is effective on all types of exotic or softwood. It also removes any oil residues that may have been previously applied.
How to use the cleaner in 6 steps?
1. Carefully protect any metal or painted parts near the terrace, as well as the lower sections of glass doors.
2. Ideally, work out of direct sunlight. Clean section by section. Lightly dampen the surface to be treated.
3. Spray or spread the undiluted Wood Brightener Cleaner onto the wood, let it work for 2–3 minutes without letting it dry.
4. Scrub using a deck brush or a floor machine fitted with a medium or hard brush.
5. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water to completely remove the product from the treated surface.
6. Repeat the process if necessary or on any remaining stained areas.
After deep cleaning, wait until the wood is COMPLETELY DRY, then apply the Starbrite Wood Protector/Saturator. Recommended tools:
