The Kokko XL 22" combines the iconic performance of kamados with Kokko’s distinctive design, in a generous format—perfect for large gatherings and those who love sharing great food. It’s also the model with the widest range of compatible accessories available as options.

This Kokko delivers an unrivalled culinary experience, whether you want to grill meat to perfection, slow-smoke your favourite dishes, or bake pizzas with intense heat. It lets you cook quickly, as it can reach 200°C in under 15 minutes.

Thanks to its large capacity and premium build, the Kokko XL is ideal for cooking for a crowd and turns every meal into a memorable experience.

How the Kokko XL Works

The Kokko XL reaches over 200°C in less than 15 minutes and retains heat for hours. It requires very little charcoal (compared to a traditional barbecue) and can stay hot for several hours at a time. Its egg-shaped design ensures optimal heat circulation for searing, smoking, or high-temperature cooking!

200 to 250°C in 15 minutes
Use 4 large handfuls of charcoal and 3 firelighters to reach 200°C in 10 minutes. Grilling means cooking food directly over the charcoal.
Perfect for ribeye steaks, skewers, sausages, whole fish, and whole vegetables.

Roast

180 to 200°C in 12 minutes
Use 3 handfuls of charcoal and 2 firelighters to reach 180°C. Roasting means cooking food with indirect heat by placing a stone under the grill.
Perfect for poultry, large cuts of meat like pork shoulder, and gratins.

Grill

280 to 350°C in 20 minutes
Use 5 handfuls of charcoal and 3 firelighters to reach 280°C. Baking in your Kokko means using indirect heat by cooking on a stone.
Perfect for baking bread, pizzas, and tarts.

Cold smoking

Cold smoking for 2 to 12 hours
Without charcoal, cold smoking means exposing food to smoke to infuse flavor without cooking it. The outside temperature should be below 15°C.
Perfect for salmon, cheese, salt, and cured meats.

Hot smoking

Up to 180°C in 10 minutes
Use 2 large handfuls of charcoal and 2 firelighters to reach a maximum of 180°C. Smoking means exposing food to hot smoke with wood chips.
Perfect for enhancing the smoky flavour of meat, fish, or vegetables.

Belle qualité de fabrication avec que des matériaux sérieux

Belle qualité de fabrication avec que des matériaux sérieux, inox, très beau bois pour les tablettes, etc. Il faut laisser préchauffer plus longtemps qu'un barbecue traditionnel, donc adapter ses habitudes mais le résultat est top. C'est mieux de réhausser les braises pour avoir l'effet grillade, mais une simple grille de barbecue de 35cm suffit à la place du panier Kokko à 99€, carément trop cher ! (J'ai pris une Weber qui a de gros barreaux).
