Flambéed bananas with orange sauce and raisins

Bananes flambées, sauce à l'orange et raisins


Cooking time: 20 min – Preparation time: 10 min – Serves: 6

Ingredients

6 bananas, not too ripe
100 ml rum
500 ml orange juice
50 g raisins


Preparation:

1. Soak the raisins in hot water for about ten minutes.

2. Pour the orange juice into a saucepan and reduce by half. Add the drained raisins at the end and let cool off the heat.

3. Preheat your Kokko. Place the whole bananas, unpeeled, on the grill and cook for about ten minutes on each side. The bananas should blacken.

4. When ready to serve, open the top and gently pull back the peel. Pour in the rum and flambé. Serve on plates with the raisin and orange sauce.

Tip: You can replace the rum with Grand Marnier or Chartreuse.
