Honey-marinated shiitake skewers

Marinated, caramelized, perfectly grilled.

Ingredients :

  • 300 g shiitake mushrooms (or button mushrooms)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

  • Sesame seeds, spring onion

Equipment:

Preparation:

Mix all the marinade ingredients and let the mushrooms marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. Thread them onto skewers, then grill for 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat, turning regularly.

Kokko tip: Try it with white meat or as a 100% plant-based version, served with fragrant rice!
