Pan-seared foie gras with apples

Foie gras poêlé aux pommes


Cooking time: 10 min – Preparation time: 10 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 generous slices of fresh foie gras
3 apples (Granny Smith variety)
50 g salted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper
Nutmeg
Parsley
Balsamic vinegar


Preparation:

1. Peel and slice the apples. Season the foie gras to your taste.

2. Fire up the Kokko on high heat. Add the butter, apple slices, and foie gras. Sear for one minute on each side.

3. Plate up: arrange the apple slices, then the foie gras. Add parsley or a drizzle of balsamic vinegar if you wish.

Serve hot!

Tip: Add your favorite spices and herbs for even more flavor.
