Duck breast with fruit

Magret de canard aux fruits


Cooking time: 15 min – Preparation time: 10 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients:

2 duck breasts
2 peaches
4 apricots
olive oil
1 tsp thyme
Salt, pepper

Equipment:


Kamado Kokko L
or Kamado Kokko XL
Round cast iron cooking plate
Large stainless steel tongs
Large round Chamba black clay dish


Preparation:

1. Wash the fruit. Peel the peaches and slice them. Cut the apricots in half.

2. Oil the Kokko and preheat it for a few moments.

3. Place the duck breasts skin side down on the plate. Add the fruit next to them to caramelize.

4. Sprinkle the meat and fruit with thyme and cook for 15 minutes. Remember to remove the fruit before the duck, as it needs less cooking time. At the end of cooking, turn the duck breasts over, season with salt and pepper.

You can now serve this delicious meal to all your guests!
