Ingredients
1 kg ground turkey
Bread crumbs
3 onions
2 eggs
2 tomatoes
3 tbsp apple compote
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
8 burger buns
Preparation:
1. Preheat your Kokko to 180°C.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, 1 finely sliced onion, the 2 eggs, apple compote, chili powder, paprika, and salt.
3. Slice the remaining two onions and the tomatoes. Set aside.
4. Shape 8 patties from the turkey mixture and flatten them with your palm to form burger patties.
5. Place your patties on the stainless steel plancha and cook for 4 minutes on each side. On the other side of your plancha, sauté the onions and warm the burger buns.
6. Remove everything from the plancha and assemble your burgers.
Tip: For even more flavour, add slices of cheese that you’ve melted beforehand onto the burger buns!
