Caramelized pineapple with ginger aroma

Ananas parfumé au gingembre et caramélisé


Cooking time: 3 to 5 min – Preparation time: 5 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients

8 slices of pineapple
1 tsp ground ginger
Caster sugar
Roasted pistachio pieces
Vanilla ice cream


Preparation:

1. Pour a little sugar onto a plate and coat the pineapple slices with a thin layer of sugar.

2. On the hot Kokko, sprinkle a little sugar and wait for it to start caramelizing. Then place the pineapple slices onto the caramelized sugar.

3. Sprinkle with ground ginger and let them caramelize on both sides.

4. Place 2 slices on each plate, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and sprinkle with some roasted pistachio pieces.

Tip: You can replace the ginger with four-spice mix or cinnamon.
