Mushroom and Ham Rösti

Röstis aux champignons et jambon


Cooking time: 20 min – Preparation time: 15 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients:

1 kg potatoes, parboiled
250 g mushrooms
100 g ham
1 onion
Salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary
Oil or butter
Lamb’s lettuce to serve


Preparation:

1. Peel the potatoes and grate them into thin slices. Slice the ham, mushrooms, and onion finely.

2. Preheat your Kokko to medium heat, drizzle a little oil or butter onto the Kokko cast iron round plate, and sauté the ham, mushrooms, and onion. Add the potatoes and spices, and brown on both sides.

3. Plate the rösti with the lamb’s lettuce.

4. Enjoy!


Tips: Instead of grating, you can also cut the potatoes into thin slices. This recipe pairs perfectly with fried eggs.
