Chicken and bacon burger

Hamburger au poulet et bacon


Cooking time: 30 min – Preparation time: 30 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients

6 hamburger buns (see the recipe in our recipe section)
1 egg
Bread crumbs
4 slices of bacon
4 slices of cheddar
Barbecue sauce
1 large onion


Preparation:


1. Start by slicing the onion into thin strips. Beat the egg in a bowl and pour the bread crumbs onto a small plate. Then, cut your chicken fillets in half lengthwise. Make breaded chicken fillets by dipping them first in the egg, then in the bread crumbs.

2. Preheat your Kokko over high heat. Once your grill plate is hot, sear the breaded chicken fillets and cook until they are nicely golden.

3. Add your onions and let them soften gently. Sear the bacon slices until they are lightly grilled and crispy.

4. All that’s left is to assemble your chicken burgers. Place your buns, cut in half. On the bottom half, add a slice of cheddar, a chicken fillet, and enjoy!
