Ingredients
1 organic pineapple
Demerara sugar
Preparation:
1. Peel the pineapple, removing all the skin, and slice it into 1.5 cm thick rounds.
2. Pour some demerara sugar onto a plate and coat both sides of each pineapple slice in the sugar.
3. Place the slices on your Kokko grill or a cast iron plate and cook for 2–3 minutes.
4. Enjoy your pineapple, soft and juicy inside, with a caramelized, slightly crisp exterior.
Tip: For extra freshness, serve the pineapple with finely chopped fresh mint.
