Goat’s cheese and pear parcels

Bricks de chèvre et poires


Cooking time: 5 min – Preparation time: 10 min – Serves: 6

Ingredients

6 sheets of brick pastry
3 pears
6 small fresh goat cheeses
50 g butter
A few sprigs of parsley

Equipment:

Kamado Kokko L
orKamado Kokko XL
Round cast iron cooking plate
Set of 4 stainless steel utensils
including a brush for buttering the brick pastry, a spatula, tongs, and a large fork
Chamba black clay plate


Preparation:

1. Melt the butter in a bowl. Peel the pears and slice them thinly.

2. Brush the brick pastry sheets with butter. Place pear slices in the center of each sheet, then top with half a goat cheese.

3. Add a few parsley leaves and fold into a turnover shape. Brush with butter again to seal the layers.

4. Cook on the Kokko cast iron plate over low heat until the bricks are golden on both sides. Serve while hot!

Tip: Serve with a dressed salad and a few walnut halves.
