Grilled prawns marinated with spices

Crevettes grillées et marinées aux épices


Cooking time: 10 min – Preparation time: 30 min – Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 kg fresh shrimp
1 large onion
3 garlic cloves
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon
1 knob of butter
Salt, pepper
Ground spices: curry, ginger, paprika, coriander, mild chili
Optional: Tabasco or hot chili

Equipment :

Stainless steel grill or cast iron grill for kamado
Skillet or cast iron pan
Kamado Little, L or XL


Preparation:

1. Peel the shrimp and place them in a large bowl. Finely chop the garlic and onion, then add them to the shrimp.

2. Add the oil, spices (about 1 tsp, or more to taste), and the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.

3. Fire up your Kokko and butter it. Sauté the shrimp, stirring regularly for 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Tip: These shrimp can be served as an appetizer or as a main dish with rice.
